Does the LA Weight Loss Center Program Really Work?

By: Phillip England

One of the more popular exercise programs these days is the LA Weight Loss Center. If you'd like to know more about the program, read on.

The LA Weight Loss Center is a center-based diet program that focuses on providing individualized programs and plans for their clients. The center is franchised to countries worldwide.

People who are interested in coming in for a program must first go to the center nearest them for an evaluation. During the evaluation the customer is weighed and is given a plan that's fit for their needs. The program is modified to accommodate a certain portion of proteins, vegetables, dairy and fruits in the person's diet. The foods recommended on the program are easily found at any local grocery or food store. The LA Weight Loss Center is proud of the fact that their plan doesn't include starvation diets and even allows its followers to eat at restaurants and fast foods. A big component of the program is the inclusion of a soy-protein bar called LA Lites. One client said the bar's taste is similar to a popular chocolate bar.

The program claims that their clients have lost their weight 2 to 3 times faster than those using other programs, while many of their clients have claimed massive weight loss in a short span of time. Testimonials found on the Internet would yield stories of clients who lost 23 to an astounding 90 pounds while on the program.

The programs has its share of supporters and detractors. Most of those who support the company rave about the fact that they were able to loss weight while eating some of their favorite foods.

On the other hand, some would criticize it for its cost. Some programs' costs range from $219 to $1,000+. Even when the program claims that it provides “free” consultations, some people claimed that they were asked to pay for a “sign-up fee” costing hundreds and for some, thousands of dollars.
